Developing Programme:
KS3 Workshops

Designed for musicians in Key Stage 3 (school years 7–9), our Developing Programme offers a dynamic and immersive musical experience. The programme includes three one-day weekend workshops.

Each of our students will be placed within one of our two specialist groups:
🎻 Classical Group – for musicians playing piano, voice, and orchestral instruments.
🎸 Contemporary Group – for those playing electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, saxophone, keys, and vocals.

Each session provides a collaborative space where students can learn, explore, and create music alongside like-minded peers. While part of a structured programme, each workshop is designed as a standalone experience, allowing students to attend as many sessions as they wish.

Sessions take place in the well-equipped music department at Wellington School, led by highly experienced and professional music tutors.
