Piano, Strings and Woodwind.

Another busy Sunday!

At South West Music School we are busy most weekends and school holidays.

The last 2 weekends, based at Wellington Senior School have been about focused tuition mentoring, ensemble activities and working as a Piano duet.

Our clarinet and saxophone students had great fun working with the wonderful Meg Davies. While our flautists and strings students were working with expert tutors, Lucille Burns and Chris Sampson – many thanks to all our tutors for an interesting and inspiring day.

Our piano students spent a day exploring duet work with Kimon Palikaropouos and Andrew Trewhella, while our advanced students had intensive 1-2-1 sessions with Helen Reid. In the afternoon, some students went on to explore Shostakovich’s 2nd Piano Concerto as part of our ongoing Piano Concerto project. Well done to all!
