Jennie Troup
Mentor Programme Manager

Jennie is an experienced music educator and consultant with a background in secondary music education and publishing. She has taught Music and Performing Arts across various educational settings in the South West of the UK.

After leaving full-time teaching, Jennie has remained active in music education as a private tutor and examinations consultant. For over two decades, she has also contributed to the music education publishing sector such as Future Publishing, Dorling Kindersley, and Quarto Publishing.

She has played a key role in exam syllabus development and benchmarking projects, including RSL Awards’ internationally recognised classical piano and violin exam series.

As Mentor Programme Manager at South West Music School, Jennie combines her passion for music with her extensive experience to support the next generation of young musicians.
